Les séries de dessins de Sophie Jodoin servent souvent de point de départ à des installations regroupant collages, peintures, objets trouvés et vidéos. Son travail a été présenté au Canada, aux États-Unis et en Europe, dans des musées, des centres d’artistes, des galeries publiques et privées, ainsi que dans le cadre de foires internationales. Elle a collaboré avec plusieurs écrivains, poètes et dramaturges de renommée internationale dont Wajdi Mouawad, Michael Ondaatje et Christian Lapointe. Elle a obtenu en 2014 la bourse de résidence à Londres du Conseil des arts et lettres du Québec.

Sophie Jodoin’s series of drawings are frequently the starting point for installations involving collage, painting, found objects, and video. Her work has been exhibited internationally in artist-run spaces, galleries, museums and fairs; and creative collaborations include novels, dramatic works and poetry with Wajdi Mouawad, Michael Ondaatje and Christian Lapointe. She was a recipient of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec’s six-month residency in London, UK in 2014.
